The Californian Church of Stand-Up Comedy proudly presents The Edinburgh Fringe Breakthrough Scholarship, an exclusive full and partial sponsorship program designed to support Irish, Irish-American, and American comedians in taking the most pivotal step in their careers—performing a full run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

This scholarship is available only to comedians who have secured a full show in a primary venue at Edinburgh Fringe. While some comedians may perform guest spots, our financial support is dedicated to those who have locked in a full-length solo show at a recognized venue, ensuring they can focus on their performance without the overwhelming financial burden.

Scholarship Levels & Costs

• Full Scholarship – $35,000

• Half Scholarship – $20,000

Breakdown of Costs Covered:

• Venue Rental: $5,000

• Accommodation: $10,000 – $15,000+

• Flights: $5,000

• Food & Living Expenses: $5,000

• Marketing & Promotion: $5,000 Essential investment in posters, PR, and industry outreach
